Posada Natura is located on the central pacific coast of Costa Rica, 8 miles from the world famous beach, Manuel Antonio. Resting on the banks of the pristine Rio Naranjo, one of cleanest rivers left on earth, it stewards and stands at the base 10,000 acres of protected, primary rainforest reserve.
Facilities
Our sanctuary is situated alongside an enchanting river and surrounded by primary rainforest. Our spacious, open-air retreat center is an experience of jungle luxury. Expansive gathering spaces, yoga shalas, temple and practice spaces, lounge and dining areas are woven into lush tropical gardens along the Naranjo river.​

Yoga Shala
Our open wall yoga shala is a serene sanctuary nestled amidst the lush rainforest, with views of the rainforest and the Naranjo river. Our spacious studio accommodates up to 40 people, in a tranquil setting for yoga, meditation, and workshops.

Our attached air-conditioned room is ideal for meditation, quiet reading, or reflection. This intimate space includes a mini-library and is our prop storage for yoga and meditation props with mats, blocks, straps, and cushions, for 25 participants.​
Main Gathering Hall
The main gathering area is a versatile space. Several lounge areas with comfortable sofas and hammocks for relaxing, reading, working or socializing. It includes a dining room that can seat 40 people, suitable for group meals or shared moments. Our tea and coffee bar is stocked throughout the day, and depending on the season, may include herbal blends from our farm. The main area is equipped with high-speed Wi-Fi, providing an easy, reliable connection.
Temple
Tucked within lush rainforest gardens, our octagon temple offers a serene sanctuary to gather for yoga, meditation, ceremony and ritual. The space is suitable for smaller groups of up to 30 people. The open air design incorporates ancient boulders into the space, and receives cool breezes from the surrounding trees. Just a short walk away, are bathrooms and showers dedicated to this space.
Fresh Water Pool
Our pool, filled with fresh river water every month and lightly chlorinated, offers a refreshing respite from the heat. It’s the wonderful place to relax, unwind, and soak up the sun while enjoying the natural surroundings of the retreat.
On-site River Access
A stone staircase winds down to the banks of the Naranjo River, just below our retreat center. At the base, you'll find a peaceful sandy beach and natural pools perfect for bathing, offering a serene spot to connect with the river and nature.
Accommodations
Our retreat center accommodations are crafted to harmonize with our land and create a deeper experience of immersion into nature as an event venue. Built with stone, wood, and bamboo from our own land in Costa Rica, their design achieves the balance of rustic luxury, creating an ideal healing center.

Options of private, or shared spaces are available for a maximum on-site sleeping capacity of 30 people and an off-site sleeping capacity of an additional 15 people.

Cabanas
Our two-story, riverside cabanas each have three distinct sleeping areas, which can be shared or private. Each cabana has the same layout.
