Traditional ceremonies, held with care.

The temazcal is the traditional sweat lodge: heat, steam and prayer inside a lodge of stones and blankets, a ceremony of release. It is a sweat lodge tradition of the Indigenous peoples of the Americas.

The cacao ceremony is a heart-opening ceremony with warm ceremonial cacao. Both are among the traditions held during our 8-day ceremonial healing retreats, with fire ceremonies in our octagon fire temple, flower baths and limpias, and medicinal herbal teas. Each retreat brings these traditions together in its own way, so ask us which ceremonies are part of the dates you are considering.
