SUPPORTIVE NUTRITION
Taking care of your nutrition on the days before a ceremony retreat and afterwards are so important and can be challenging to attend to while traveling. Land here before or after your retreat and rest assured that we have you covered. Meals are mindfully prepared to abide by the recommendations of the 'dieta' period. Imagine feeling deeply nourished and not having to worry about that piece. Our culinary team has 15 years of experience of working with plant medicine friendly meals and our cuisine is mostly organic and farm to table.
NATURE IMMERSION
Our retreat center is nestled in a lush rainforest, alongside the incredible Naranjo river. The healing pulse of our land and the symphony of the rainforest will nurture your spirit in all ways. Each retreat experience is rooted in our family’s deep connection to this land — we have protected 10,000 acres of rainforest for over 30 years, 1,100 of which our family owns. These lands are home to primary rainforest, pristine watersheds, hidden waterfalls and swimming holes - offering guests a rare and intimate connection with untouched nature. And just 8 miles west is the incredible Manuel Antonio beach.

CONTEMPLATIVE PRACTICE
Enjoy contemplative practice classes including yoga, meditation, and breathwork, lead by seasoned facilitators that are experienced with plant medicine ceremonies. Sessions are offered on our beautiful deck nestled in the rainforest canopy, overlooking the river. All of our instuctors have walked the path and know first hand how to create classes that are especially conducive to preparing for or integrating plant medicine ceremonies.
SPIRITUAL & MENTAL HEALTH COUNSELING
Plant medicine experiences can be very profound and for most, the 'work' really begins after the retreat ends. Sometimes additional support can be really helpful during this process. Our onsite facilitators have extensive experience in offering spiritual care and supportive counseling for guests around preparation and integration of plant medicine ceremonies. We also can arrange onsite in-person care by a licensed mental health care provider if requested.

BODYWORK
Nourishing bodywork sessions are available onsite to complement your preparation or integration journey. These sessions offer a powerful way to engage with the somatic dimensions of your experience—supporting you in processing and embodying the insights that arise before, during, and after plant medicine ceremonies. Our skilled practitioners work with deep presence and care, honoring the body’s innate wisdom and gently facilitating the somatic unfolding that plant medicine so often initiates.
ADVENTURES &
CULTURE
Excursions offer a chance to explore the local landscape and culture. Go horseback riding through our own rivers and mountains, or try whitewater rafting on the Naranjo or Savegre rivers. Visit Los Campesinos Reserve for hanging bridges, hiking, and a waterfall swim. Learn about medicinal plants and sustainable farming at our neighbors organic farm, or take part in a chocolate-making workshop to connect with the region’s traditional food and culture.

ABOUT POSADA NATURA
Posada Natura is a family owned and operated rainforest sanctuary in the heart of Costa Rica situated on the Naranjo river, just 8 miles from Manuel Antonio Beach.

Our retreat center is nestled within a vital biological corridor of the Cerro Nara mountains, where we co-steward over 10,000 acres of protected primary rainforest and pristine watersheds.
Facilities
The retreat center facilities were built by our family with care and intention — from the expansive gathering spaces and ceremonial temple to the practice areas, lounges, dining hall, and freshwater pool. All are thoughtfully woven into lush tropical gardens along the Naranjo River.

Our common areas include high-speed WiFi, a dedicated air-conditioned work area and library, as well as yoga and meditation props.

Tropical Gardens
Once a cleared cattle pasture, this land was lovingly restored by our family into a thriving rainforest canopy and sanctuary of ancient trees, medicinal plants, tropical fruits, vibrant flowers, and wildlife. Peaceful pathways weave through the rainforest to spaces for meditation and connection with nature.
Accommodations
Our accommodations are thoughtfully designed to harmonize with the land and immerse you in nature. Built with wood harvested from our property and offering serene riverfront views, each space strikes a balance between rustic charm and refined comfort.
